Ammonites are a fossil which have a beautiful spiral-form shell. These creatures lived in the seas up to 65 million years ago, when they became extinct along with the dinosaurs. The name 'ammonite' originates from the Greek ram-horned god called Ammon. These are hand-selected ammonites and each are unique.
This necklace features an ammonite which hangs from a hammered bronze abstract circle. The brown leather cord is 48" long to be worn long or short.
