The coconut shell is the strongest part of the coconut which covers the fruit. These beads are hand-made from coconuts grown in the Philippines.
Several coconut shell pieces hang from an oxidized brass chain to make a fringe design. The chain is 18" long and can be adjusted for different lengths.
